We welcome submissions of articles related to the Safety of Journalists Training School and the following international conference. Please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your work:
Topic: Articles should address issues related to the safety of journalists, including but not limited to:
- Physical safety
- Digital security
- Legal protection
- Psychosocial well-being
- Training and capacity building
- The role of media organizations and other stakeholders in promoting journalist safety
- Other related issues
Originality: Submissions must be original work and not previously published elsewhere.
Length: Articles should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words.
Format:
- Use a clear and concise writing style.
- Include an abstract of no more than 250 words.
- Use headings and subheadings to organize your text.
- Cite sources using a consistent citation style (Preferable style: APA).
Submission: Submit your article as a Word document (.doc or .docx) to the ICSJ contact email.
Deadline: The deadline for submissions is 15 April 2025.
Review Process: All submissions will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field. Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process.

Articles will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the theme of journalist safety
- Originality and contribution to the field
- Clarity and quality of writing
- Strength of argument and evidence
- Adherence to the guidelines
